Increased durability without affecting appearance
Stowmarket Glass Company uses UV bonding to increase the durability of glass panels by ‘doubling up’ sheets of glass with a strong adhesive which is then cured under intense UV light. This creates a single panel that has no residue and is thus easy to clean, but benefits from having robust strength without sacrificing on appearance.
We are also capable of bonding glass panels to furniture and timber, such as for modern cupboards and kitchen or bathroom cabinets, vanities, and much more. Furthermore, we can use UV bonding to seamlessly bond metal to glass, which is ideal in home kitchens (on stainless steel countertops, for instance) with backsplashes, in commercial settings, and many more applications.
Ideal for cupboards, office doors, showers and more
UV bonding is particularly well-suited for glass products which require handles or hinges, such as cupboards and vanities, as mentioned, as well as office doors, sliding or bi-fold shower doors, and display cases, to name a few typical uses.
Once our UV bonding has properly cured using the most accurate CNC machinery in-house, we load the product onto MDF jigs for safe transport. Whether you are purchasing UV bonded glass or wish for us to install the product at your home or business, rest assured that the product will arrive safely and can be erected into position with our lifting equipment.
If you would like to request UV bonding services for your home or commercial property, please send us an enquiry using the form found on the contact page. We will endeavour to respond to you with an ideal solution to meet your specific needs.
